This book-guide, created from the collaboration of a sculptor, a geologist and an art historian, offers a different space for the perception of contemporary art and presents works of art, dreamily waiting for spring's heavy rains or the first snow, before they disintegrate and merge with the forest and the earth again. .. Some are preserved only in photographs, others have ambitions to act as landscape-forming elements in a longer time perspective. Works based on the land art movement and art for public space are represented here, their authors - often striving for the ecology of fine art - defined the time of their physical existence by connecting them to a specific place in the wild or rural landscape. They are freely accessible, exposed to winds, frost, water and time, sometimes created from natural material as ephemeral as fresh snow or leaves fallen from trees, sometimes from stone, but also from concrete. The guide also includes activities that take care of the landscape, some of which also indicate sensitivity to the spiritual plane of nature. In most cases, it is a work of art that strives for some kind of conversation with the place, its history or natural qualities.
