Looking at trees, we perceive their density and color of leaves, size, spacing, species, age, shadow of the crown and how they shape the memory of the place. However, it often happens that trees are planted where they live, cover part of the house, or in elevated places, regardless of the possibility of reaching groundwater. Some trees, mainly urban ones, in summer drought or in extreme conditions, require adequate space for growth and stability. In most cases, it is enough to take care of a mature tree regularly and reduce its center of gravity during the period of rest, before it is easier to cut down later by legislation. Many trees are disappearing insensitively, which could be preserved for future generations not only of humans, but also of birds and insects.
Referring to the 7,000 oak trees planted by Joseph Beuys for the modern art show documenta 7 in Kassel in 1982. The planting of 7,000 trees, mostly oaks, was placed in a public space together with a small basalt column; the places for planting and planting were designed by the citizens themselves, who thus participated in the creation process. The scale of trees and stones changes over time, a process of two different living things. Beuys' intention in this action was to "raise the alarm against all the forces that destroy nature and life".
