The simple title of the exhibition not only points to the visibility of water as one of the four elements, but also to the treatment of water, the possibilities of its purification and where treacherous water pollution is hidden in nature. Water is the most complex of all simple substances.
In her work, Dagmar Šubrtová has been reflecting on the post-industrial landscape for a long time, she is interested in the processes of transformations and the actions of people who influence the global system through their activities. He observes the processes of nature and realizes the fragility of the Earth in space, but also the power of the renewal of nature in places where it is possible to leave the processes to their natural development.
Through mutual chemical reactions of water, colors and other collected materials and different drying times, the author creates dynamic structures that imitate chemical processes in nature. Articulated drawings in matter evoke a number of associations. They resemble satellite images of the Earth's surface or an arid landscape.
